The Team
Jorge Baralles Jr., General Manager

When it comes to a true Table 301 employee, Jorge Baralles, Jr. is one of them.

Jorge was born in Mexico, where he lived until he was seven years old. His father Jorge Sr. was working in construction in America and moved the whole family to the United States to be together. Jorge attended Travelers Rest High School where he was on the soccer team, and he then went on to Greenville Technical College to earn his degree in Business Administration.

His dad started with Table 301 in the kitchen when Soby’s opened in 1997, and a few years later, Jorge Jr. was hired as a busboy at Soby’s. He worked his way up at Soby’s, first as a food runner and then eventually working all the way up to Assistant Manager. When the recessions hit in 2008, Jorge left Table 301 to take a position with AT&T. After two years, he made his way back to the Table 301 family, re-joining the team at The Lazy Goat. He eventually moved into the role of Assistant Manager at The Lazy Goat and also helps manage Papi’s Tacos, another Table 301 restaurant that his dad, Jorge Sr. runs.

In February 2017, Jorge was promoted to General Manager at Passerelle Bistro, the French-inspired concept Table 301 owns in Falls Park, in downtown Greenville.

Outside of work, Jorge enjoys spending time with his wife Holly and their four children, Rose, Lily, Emiliano and Olivia. He also loves to ride his bike and plays soccer with The Lazy Goat coed team every year.
